The monthly Law Institute Journal is the key publication for legal practitioners
in Victoria. It has articles from a wide variety of sources covering all aspects of the law and legal
practice and regular features written by Institute staff, practitioners and experts in other related fields.
A monthly magazine that includes special features, lawyer talk,
letters to the editor, in practice, departments and book reviews. Full text of articles are
available online and go back as far as 1995. This is a NSW journal, although it covers
many commonwealth legal issues.
A bi-monthly publication that features several articles from
each issue online from February 1998.
The Review aims to provide quality, fully refereed legal articles
and notes of contemporary academic and practical relevance.
This service provides access to the Senate Hansard, the House of Representatives
Hansard and Senate, House of Representatives and Joint Committee transcripts.
Full text articles are available from 1997 and are indexed by date,
title, author, subject. Covers a variety of legal issues.
It summarises the work of the Council; important decisions of the courts and the tribunals;
general developments affecting the merits review tribunals; and changes to, and proposals for,

The Alternative Law Journal is an Australian journal focusing on
the promotion of social justice issues; developing a critique of the legal system;
the development of alternative practice; community legal education; and
support of law reform activity.
The Arbitrator and Mediator is published three times a year and is distributed to all members. It is also available to non-members by annual subscription. The full text is available online and includes a very user friendly
search engine.
The Arts Law Centre of Australia is the national community legal centre for the arts. Arts Law publishes a number of information sheets, checklists, sample agreements and seminar papers, set out in their publications list.

Australian Centre for Environmental Laws' Newsletter contains editorial and other
industry specific information. A good source for an overview of the current issues affecting Environmental
Law in Australia.

The Australian Institute of Criminology is the national focus for
the study of crime and criminal justice in Australia and for the dissemination of criminal

This database contains the archival volumes of Privacy Law
& Policy Reporter (PLPR), a monthly review and analysis of privacy laws, policies and
intrusions, focussing on Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific. The current
volume of PLPR, and any issues published within the last six months, are not
included in this archive.
It covers a diverse range of legal topics all particularly
relevant to academics and practitioners alike, continuing the tradition of the Review
in providing comprehensive legal analysis.
The Review is a refereed journal that publishes articles, comments
and notes on the whole spectrum of legal topics and issues.
The High Court Review is an electronic law journal which publishes expert
commentary on those cases granted special leave to appeal to the High Court before the
appeal is heard.
Established in 1989, the Revenue Law Journal is an Australian
journal with an international focus on all aspects of taxation.
Includes articles, essays, commentaries, case notes and book reviews.
Seeks to disseminate information and views on matters relating
to law reform, including developments in case and statute law, as well
as proposals for law reform, be they from formal law reform bodies or
from other institutions or individuals. The Journal publishes articles,
case and legislation notes and comments and reviews of books on law reform related
themes.
GLR publishes contemporary work in any area of law and legal studies,
particularly inter-disciplinary or socio-legal work.
This journal provides an outlet for all areas of legal
history but with emphasis on Australian legal history.
The Review publishes articles on all areas of law, from constitutional
to international, jurisprudence to tax. On occasions the Review publishes a special issue,
or symposium, drawing together articles on a specific topic.
DTLJ is a journal concerned with intellectual property law issues in the digital environment.
A general journal of law and legal issues. E Law contains four categories.

General Issues There are two General Issues published annually.
Each General Issue contains articles on a broad range of legal issues which are submitted
to the Journal by judges, academics and other members of the legal profession. The Journal
also accepts student articles of the highest standard. Thematic Issue. There is one Thematic Issue
published annually. The Thematic Issue contains articles on a particular legal topic which is
researched and selected by the Board.
A twice yearly publication. The journal contains sections for contributions on law and justice topics as well as student contributions, both undergraduate and postgraduate, and book reviews.
The Review publishes articles, case notes, expert commentary
on cases currently being heard by the High Court (reproduced in full) and book reviews.
Examples of topics include articles on law and artificial
intelligence/expert systems; computer law, intellectual property law issues,
privacy concerns, computer crime, electronic commerce, use of technology in legal
practice, technological developments in legal education, etc.
Whilst the journal aims to include articles on a broad range of
topics of national and international importance, there is a focus on Western Australian
legal issues, which form a separate section of the journal, ‘The Western Australian Forum’.
Although principally focusing on litigation in Hawaii Courts,
the Symposium broadly presents issues regarding conducting discovery in Asia, obtaining
jurisdiction over foreign defendants, and enforcing judgments in Asia.
The Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal was founded in 1990 to promote the
discussion of legal and policy issues affecting East Asian and trans-Pacific affairs.
The Journal provides a forum for the discussion of current issues significant to legal practice
and scholarship in this dynamic region.
We publish a wide range of material and legal research with a focus on laws
of the South Pacific region and on issues of interest to legal researchers within the region.
Submission of work from scholars with an interest in this area is most welcome.
