Lawlink NSW provides access to NSW crime and court statistics.
They also offer free crime and justice bulletins and hot topics articles.
The purpose of the site is to be a reference for working lawyers and students in the field of criminal law about recent cases in the areas of criminal law and evidence.
Justice Action is a community-based organisation comprising criminal justice
and prison reform activists. They seek to provide a rigorous watchdog function overlooking the prison
and criminal justice systems of New South Wales and to hold both government and politicians accountable
for their duty of care. They seek to uncover and expose police and penal abuse, misconduct and
corruption and to promote reform and meaningful change. They seek to assist those who suffer from
the abuses of the system. They provide prisoner and defendant support and handle cases and complaints.
They promote policies and initiate campaigns to uphold viable non-custodial alternatives to
imprisonment and law and order policies that criminalise the inequities in NSW and
global communities.
The Victims of Crime Bureau is a recent government initiative established under the Victims Rights Act 1996 to provide a critical link between victims of crime and service providers throughout NSW. It provides information on counselling, compensation, victim's rights, legislation, application forms, support services and counsellors.
